There are two types of mobile blood drives. The decision to use either of these setups is based on the space available and the number of donors you can attract.

Inside Setup: for 25 donors or more.

BloodSource will use a bed setup that can easily manage up to 250 donors and more.

The best room for a mobile blood drive is a large room that is not only conveniently located for donors, but is also easily accessible to staff and equipment, i.e., on the ground floor or close to an elevator. Depending on the number of donor beds provided by BloodSource, you will be asked to provide a number of 6- to 8- foot tables and chairs.

Bloodmobile

BloodSource has self-contained bloodmobiles designed to comfortably accommodate a maximum of 50 donors. The bloodmobile requires 8 to10 level parking spaces and nearby restrooms. Because our units are self-contained, we do not need electrical hookups or water.
